Metropolitan Cup Cluster Qualification

05.06.2019

Our Soccer A-Team and our Netball team participated in the Metropolitan Cup Qualifications in Onamunhama today. And both teams offered us and the rest of the school, who came to support their teams, a stunning performance. Goal after goal was awarded to our teams, leaving the soccer team with four wins in four games. They played 4:0 against Oshitutuma, 2:0 against Omungholyo, 3:0 against the hosts and another 2:0 versus Etomba. They are definitely ready for the circuit level games on Saturday, the 8th of June.

But also the Netball team should not be forgotten. Due to the low number of teams, they just had one game. But they aced it. Without a single goal against them, they left the court with an earned win of 32:0 against Onamunhama.

So both our teams are ready and will definitely take the trip to the circuit level this coming week-end. Let us see how they do there!

A Wedding in School!

28.05.2019

A happy day for Okanghudi Secondary School. Today a happy couple got married during a school lesson. The whole class 8a was there to attend the ceremony, which took place as a part of their Entrepreneurship classes. Of course there was some food and some Omalodu. Even a photographer was on scene! The day was accompanied by some music and was concluded by Eemhoko, singing for the joyful couple.

Educational Trip to Swakopmund

April 2019

A group of learners and teachers went for a trip to Swakopmund and Walvis Bay in the April holidays 2019. Besides visiting the Aquarium and the snake park, they also went to visit the naval base in Walvis Bay Port. Of course the Dune 7 could also not be left out on this trip.
After a short dip in the (very cold) sea and almost a week in Swakopmund their time was up and they had to come back up north.
